I've just been out taking photos - Ballater and Braemar lots of snow but main roads mostly black, A939 is signposted as closed but is actually passable for first 6 miles (unless you run into a fast moving snowplough) Dinnet - Ordie - Tarland is alright though heading towards Slack it gets a lot worse and Kintocher/Crossroads was impassable by anything other than 4x4 (and you'd have had to be in landy or similar to get over drifts) and dug out a lady in a car, but further east towards Echt its fine as well.

Weve been snowed in since Wednesday! even after farmer down the track came and cleared a track, even the Landy still cant make it through as it snowed more. Well not with me driving it!OH might have been able to but he couldnt get up here at all so isnt up here this weekend.
I guess I am in here till it thaws whenever that will be! the sheep didnt come up from Dunfermline yesterday unsurprisingly
