Question TimeI don't know whether to watch it to get informed or boycott it cos I know better = what do you think?
PS. I do think that they should be allowed to state their case though they are clearly bonkers

Well, we've had to sit through years of other panel members who should be strung up (Melanie Phillips for one), so one more won't make any difference!
I strongly believe that "free speech" should be precisely that - free!
(I may not agree with a word that you utter, but would defend unto death your right to say it..)
Mind you, it is a perfect opportunity to make the nauseating Griffin look totally stupid, and who does the government field to perform the ritual public humiliation? - Jack "brain donor" Straw, who couldn't find his ar*e without satnav............. it'll be a battle of intellectual pygmies

I do think that Griffin will be shown up for the stupid ridiculous inarticulate buffoon he is; not sure the rather mad staring look he has will appeal either.
Im uncomfortable with censorship unless there is active incitement to crime/attack in the expression so I think it is a good thing to invite him on. Its also why I dislike PR electorally, its more democratic but it does not have the protection against disparate extremists that the current general election system has and I value that aspect.

[edited to remove personal info - should have thought before putting it up here.]
The telly will be getting dusted down for this evenings watch. Will be interesting to hear what this 'political party' will have to say (although i hear that until they've re-vamped their consitution they can't call themselves such- if it wasn't true it would be funny) Also, if they will say they have changed/adapted/modernised their thinking...now they wear suits and have a legitimate (?) voice.
Also interested in what Mr Straw will have to say - and hoping it won't reflect on his constituency. After this flash in the pan sensational Question Time is over, folks still have to live together. I hope (perhaps foolishly) that Jack will pour oil on troubled water, and not fan the flames.
