Protest against Trump developmentPeople may well have noticed the e-mails going around concerning the Trump Dev. at the Menie Estate. A walk in protest to the dev. AS THEY STAND has been organised for the SAT 17th Nov at 11AM. from Newburgh to Balmedie (approx 5.5 miles). This is to draw attention to the fact that much of the advice given by consulting bodies to make this dev. sensitive to the needs of this rare habitat is not been enforced. There will certainly be benefits to the surrounding area from a development such as this, but we do not need to accept that this must be at the cost of our natural heritage.More Info see:- http://www.meniescotland.co.uk We would like to see c.300 people participate as this will guarantee media coverage and possible celebrity involvement.
