Plums, berries.....free-ish jam 'n' jellyI was thrilled to be given a bag of plums...and made 3 jars of jam. I'm so pleased with it...delicious. I made a mistake when making it and had to add extra pectic as it didn't want to set. I've since been told i should have left the stones in at first as that's where the natural pectin lives. Doh.
I've plans to go berry picking next week and make jam and jelly.
Anyone else had a windfall in their direction....or about to go berry picking?

We found some lovely brambles and have made gorgeous bramble and apple jelly, just a pity there were only 3 jars!
