That's what I thought - it's growing in the grass where the chickens are and where the goat that died was eating. I was trying to look for unusual stuff that might have caused the problem.

Looks like chard to me too, but it's an unusual place to find it.

I first I thought beetroot, but now I think its a type of beet, like sugar beet or something.
Just google beet greens and you should see something similar.
