pics againif i have pictures on my windows , can i get one off it and put it on here, with out having to join yahoo, and photobucket and all that

Try the 'attach file' button just below your typing window (not available when using quick reply!)

Setting up a photobucket or flickr account is not difficult either though!

i did that, then picked a picture then did the thumbnail box, it came up in the browse box, but when i press upload, nothing happens  theres nothing there, and it disapears from my browse box, leaving it empty

What size is the photo - you should be able to see by right click and choose properties.

Also check it's not still in the process of uploading. Have noticed that the upload window is quite small sometimes and if you re-size it you can see the status bar going up slowly if the pic is kinda large.

so right click and resize, ill try that tomorrow, dont want to get wound up now   or i wont sleep, then ill be uneven tomorrow, that means odd

Give the photo some time to upload and then press preview.
It should appear, then press submit.
It does take a while to upload, so be patient!
|If it is a big photo or you are on Dial-up it will take quite a while.
Watch your progress bar.

I still cant upload images by using the attach file button - and it's not down to size.

My status bar doesn't move and then after about a minute the code for the photo appears in my typing window.

Yup, I only ever post pics using the attach picture option and I've never had an issue with it yet.

im trying again
i preesed attach file, then when that came up i pressed browse, i chose a picture, and ticked the thumbnail, then pressed upload. and this is what it said
okError: failed to copy:http://neeps.myfreeforum.org/images/tmp/thumb_phplJb5d6 to ../../../gallery/325922.JPG.z

Try it without thumbnails, I never use them.
