petit pans

I've grown a couple of petit pan squash and now have a small number of these strange, little yellow petit pans.

How do I cook them?

If I peel them, there will be nothing left.  Should I half them and then bake them?

I've got a few tomatos and courgettes as well, anyone think of a recipe to use them all up?  All I could come up with was "a medley of baked veggies from Pete's polytunnel"

Hi Pete

Slice the ppans in half, smear with olive oil & griddle/grill for a couple of mins, sprinkle with pepper & salt to taste.

The toms, courgettes & pans could be turned into a sort of ratatouille (no aubergines).

We often make a 'veg fest'

Fry a sliced onion in oil till soft, add garlic to taste.
A splosh of white wine, 1/2 a chicken stock cube &simmer till the wine has cooked in.

Add veg - courgette, toms, beans, whatever & continue to simmer till the veg are done but not too soft. We add the toms at the last moment - so you can still see chunks of tom on the plate.

OR

You could make gazpacho with those ingredients - very nice if we get more hot weather.

Kind regards
