Don't forget to book quickly if you want to go...visited Alan at REAP yesterday and they already have 2 places booked and paid for. Not sure of max numbers but think it's about 10-ish. Sent a 'heads up' to all the folk who said they were interested from the other thread yesterday. Hope anyone interested has manage to book a place.

A Fine Malt and Carrot Lover were going to book on but she's involved in the Huntly 'Go Slow and Walking Festival' so they won't be going this time. Fingers crossed, there will be another in the near future.
rainbowstar

P.s I had a look at the permaculture uk website and didn't see any mention of his previous course on the listings so wondering how to find out about it?
wildgarlic

We've got the camping that weekend and D and J are so excited that I can't do it this time. Especially D having bought his rods etc - can't afford to do both :-(
wildgarlic

I reckon we should ask Rod whether he could do something combined with a Neeps camping weekend. Would that work do you think? Maria, you've been on one. Obviously there would be children/young folk in our group too - wonder whether it's possible.
Smooth Hound

Permaculture Course

I got on it - really pleased!  I'm driving up from near Inverurie both days as I'm bird ringing at the Bin Forest near Huntly on Sunday morning at 6.00am for a couple of hours.  If anyone wants a lift - though it might be difficult on Sunday - please give me a shout!
Maria

Great you got a place Maidenstone.

Are any other neeps going along? Could ask anyone going to ask a few things of the next grand bunch of intro to perma folks?

1. Can a 'neeps' intro be arranged?
2. Anymore thoughts on a permaculture north east network? Would really like to share perma thoughts and projects with others.
3. Please join neeps if you have pc access...to share news with other perma/transition folks?

Thanks muchly - and apols for gatecrashing the course before it's even started.
Smooth Hound

i didnt think i would be able to manage a full day or two event, so ive left it this time, i hope to go along to one in the near future though

I've made a note of your points, Maria, and will get them across somehow during the course!

permaculture course

I think there is a huge interest in permaculture, the location of the course was prohibitive to alot of people in Aberdeenshire - I wandered if this course could be run from Aberdeen - do you think those running the course would consider using our premises in Aberdeen to run a course from?

Just a thought.

Chris, it might be worth sending RodL a pm or email via profile as he may well not see this.

M,m,m,m,   good idea.  Would be great if he could run even a shortened course this side of of Aberdeenshire.
