Hi Everyone, Just thought I would pop by and introduce myself (Penny's Mum) Just my husband and myself, one dog,one cat. Children have flown the nest years ago,(that makes me sound old).

We have just built a Poly Tunnel this year and I am quite pleased with the results so far as I have never grown anything before,just wish the tomatoes would get red quicker or maybe I am impatient.
My hobbies include Sewing,Knitting,Card Making of which I have just started last August and now it seems to have taken over. And Machine Embroidery,I spend most of my time in my craft room as I make things for Craft Fairs.
Looking forward to reading all the posts and learning lots of hints and tips on growing veggies and hearing about any Craft Fairs in your local areas.

Sound like you'll enjoy being around our many craftsters and gardeners. I had all green toms last year (my first year) but this year they're all going red - whoopee - i'm so chuffed i wouln't mind if i had to bring the rest in to ripen. But then i'm easily pleased when it comes to gardening...still get excited when i get to see something for the first time. First time things this year were asparagus and soya beans and celery...and other things but i can mind what at the min.
