Partridge PekinThis is a pic of our partridge pekin chick... i'm 90% sure it's a wee boy, but just after Sass to confirm if my thought is correct..
It has reddish comb and wattles, dark copper coloured chest feathers and is a real character, really is a confident wee thing too

I have at least 3 boys in this clutch of 10 under their mum.
I also hatched a silkie from a Thaineston egg (I never learn do I !!) It has feathers, not fluff !!! Grrr I hoped for a girl so that it could stay and be a broody but it's a boy  I won't even be able to give him away I don't think

Ronnie and Marion Greenlaw just over our way have about 50 types of chickens and sell hatching eggs, all the breeds are well separated (!) and very well looked after stock. they are lovely people too.
I will get anything I needed from them not Thainstone 'bran tub'  , it would be too disappointing for it to turn out 'wrong'!
