Musicians WantedKeith Folk Festival is this weekend (12-14 June). We are arranging a stall to promote Cosy Keith - our insulation and energy reduction project. As part of the entertainment for our stall we are having a green music session at our stall. What is this I hear you ask..... Well we are connecting up a very small amp (9volt) to a bicycle to provide the electricity by pedal power instead of battery. Just a wee gimic to attract attention. So any folk musicians who fancy coming along for a wee while or young things that fancy getting fit on an exercise bike are required. We are hoping to run a tape player off the bike between musicians etc.
Sorry for the lateness of request but we were leaving it off till we knew that the blessed contraption would work. We still arn't 100% sure but are going along with it anyway. Thanks to Charlie our resident mad inventor for putting machine together.
Anyway all help gratefully appreciated. We plan to be in the royal hotel car park at the bottom of Mid Street (next to the TMSA festival portacabin) from around 11 am till 2 or till we get bored! All welcome - if you fancy coming give me a shout so I know it won't be just the 2 of us!
