Monday 6th July 09After the great weather of the past few weeks it was bound to happen now that school has finished for the holidays
Thunder and lightning been rumbling away in the distance for the last hour or so and starting to get closer no rain yet but does not look far away. hopefully it will pass by the afternoon

No rumbling thunder here this morning, but overcast skies and decidedly cooler than the past week or so.

We had a bit of rain earlier this morning but not enough to make a difference. All dry and dusty again now.

rain lasted a hole 2 mins max no thunder since 10ish, sky clear sunny and hot again lets hope it lasts

Yup, i spoke too soon. Torrential rain, hail then thunder and lightening.
My poor dog is beside herself. Shaking, panting...the whole shooting match.

I sheared the sheep so it was bound to rain really! notmuch so far tho and still warm. but welcome relief none the less, esp on the hayfever front....

It's been overcast here with a slight breeze, but still a hot day that I have spent in the garden. I went out for an hour until the rain came - but it didn't so I've been there most of the day

wow, I have just driven through a monsoon. The road from inverurie to Oyne is completed flooded. Its like driving up a river.
But here, we're dry. No rain at all.
