ive been making tinctures and oils, from herbs, ive bought some valerian tincture as my plant isnt up to having its roots stolen yet, and ive some echinachea tincture, i have some nettle oil , somest johns wort oil on the go, and tomorrow ill be making meadow sweet tincture and oil, well starting it anyway.
Smooth Hound

its for heartburn for me, but the main thing is is that its sweet, so im hoping to get a bit of a concoction together for my needs, so i can have a spoon of one in the morning, and another in the evening, and a few different oils for rubbing in,

How's it going?

I keep meaning to collect some and find out how to make a cough syrup from the stuff...but with the kids being on hols I'm constantly, and quite happily, distracted. Only 1 more week of the hols left now    so I'll soon have time to learn more about foraging and make us some green meds.

Can you use Meadowsweet seeds {left after the flowers die off} as incense???

My plan was to collect and burn them on a charcoal disk....its a free incence.

Than you.
Julie

A friend of mine makes meadowsweet cordial every year, she says it is better than the Elderflower.
Smooth Hound
