Marhars ProblemCan anyone tell me why I have to log in nearly every time despite me having ticked the box to remember me next time I log in

I'm not sure Marhar... possibly something to do with cookies? Hopefully someone clever will be able to answer your question.

I've had a bit of a play.
For me, if I click the keep me logged in then just kill the internet page by clicking on the x in the top right hand corner of the screen, when I open a new page and go to neeps I'm still logged in.
If I click the logout, then I need to log in again.
If I clean out my cookies, then I need to log in again.
Can I have some more info and I'll try and help.
How are you closing down neeps?
Is your internet explorer setting set to prevent cookies being exchanged?
Is the problem happening after you reboot your computer or just when you start a new neeps page?

ps Cookies are little text files which hold some info about the sites you visit. Most sites will put this text file on to your computer. It allows the site to see if you've visited before

If you want to stay logged in or log in automatically when you visit NEEPS do not log out, just go somewhere else or if you are fininhed with your browser (Internet Explorer or FireFox whatever) just close it.
If you log out you will need to log in again every time, but if someone else uses your computer to go onto NEEPS you will need to log out or the site will see them as you and the posts will also show as being yours.
By the way, if your privacy settings are to high or you do not allow cookies, it will not log you in automatically.

Marhar I have the same problem, cookies enabled and new computer. Rarely do I stay logged on and definately not for more than a day
