Why not put him in the rare breed sale at Thainstone on the 5th of sept.

Sorry to be negative :-(
The rules do say that no single cockerels to be entered. i know they do get entered, but don't usually sell. There is also a £5 charge per cage - highly unlikely that you would get more than that for him.

I did have a home for him, but was unfortunately let down yesterday.

wonder whether any other neeps cockerels could be sold as one lot?

I doubt that you would find a buyer.
Unless they are going for meat.
Most people are in the same position with unwanted cockerels. I have a dozen or so here at the moment. I am going to have to let some girls go with them and sell them as pairs or trios

As posted in the Emporium, I have a lovely little pullet to go with him
She is bred from Lemon cuckoo parents, but has turned out rather buff coloured. She is a lovely shape though. £5

Hi Sue...
Sounds like a plan... I have one other supposed lemon cuckoo pekin hen, she looks more buff too, if you wanted you can have them both to put with your wee girl there as a trio for thainstone..
Only thing is I would have to bring them up this week sometime as i'm back to work on tuesday next week
