Did you know www.garnstudio.com has knitting patterns you can download from the internet free. Lots of lovely hats, gloves, wristwarmers, scarves, as well as the usual stuff. They sell the wool at the Wool Shed next to Touched by Scotland in Oyne, but if you check the needle size you can use similar yarns.
