As much of a car nut as I am, I really have never seen the fascination with those vans. Dunno what it is about them that seems to generate so much interest.

Was there for the Scottishvag North East/Mearns monthly meet. Only took a few pictures. I think he'll be back next month if you want me to let you know when it is? The boy with the wee mk1 Polo has an oval-windowed Beetle as well which he might bring along, too.

In terms of VAG motors, I was sitting behind a guy in a Corrado the other day... still fancy a Storm version of them... lovely looking cars IMO.
