Jotter Pad Tutorial

I made a couple of these tonight, they are cheap and easy to make and they look fab... also ideal for christmas presents.

The jotter pads are only 37p each and are the basic range supermarket ones.

Tutorial over at my blog:

They look FAB Townie!!!!

Please excuse me for being thick, but all the bits you use - lettering, wavey edge card, cupcakes etc - do you make them or buy them?
lachlanandmarcus

the blog says they are ready made ones I think

had a read of the blog, very impressed Townie!! quite inspiring!

Thanks everyone... hope this has given you all some inspiration to make your own for pressies at christmas

Diana...

I buy patterned papers and cardstock etc, and just put them all together to make something pretty...

The scalloped edged cardstock, I made this with the aid of a Fiskars "treading water" punch, just adds a lovely edge to an otherwise straight bit of paper.

paper addict over and out lol

These look great, Townie. My daughter and I were just starting to think about Christmas presents (it had to happen at some time) and she's really keen to have a go at making one for her granny, so thanks for the inspiration!

Your most welcome Sunflower, they are straightforward to make and i'm sure your daughter will have loads of fun making it and granny will love it!

you could combine it with a Journal in a Jar to make a gift, this is info on the child's version which I am using at school, although I have rewritten the prompts to get rid of the American spelling!

Idea and printables:

Another great idea! I've kept a diary on and off since I was 11 (so a very long time!) and my daughter often starts and then gives up,so this could be just the thing to encourage her... In fact, I think I'll make one as a joint present from Santa to me and her, a nice thing to do together through the dark nights..
Thanks
