Jam, marmalade, curd :) :) :)

Just love them all.

I've not had a go at making my own yet, but really have to. Thanks to preserve making friends, I've had the pleasure of tasting the deliciousness of home made jam. I'd forgotten just how lovely it was. I was reminded of this section after visiting Beths and taste testing by the spoonful; Stoneys Rhubarb and Almond, and a couple of jams Beth has from France...ohhhh soooo yummy all of them. Had to ask her to take the spoon from me.   Beth did you find out what 'e'glentine'(?) was?

Others I've tasted are lemon curd, marmalade, orange and grapefruit, nob-bits blackcurrant, apple and blackberry, plum. So delicious!!! I want to make strawberry jam....right now... .

Isn't it another name for Rosa Rugosa. The really prickly one with the huuuge hips ?

I don't think I fancy the idea myself haha

Made blackcurrent no (and i repeat NO   ) bits jam (jelly) for the first time. Delicious. And....i've had a go at making lemon curd.

Both of them were soooo much better than bought.

I want to have a go at some more now....maybe rowen jelly, and rhubarb and almond next.

Made blackurrant jam from my garden bushes this week. Have jars of pickled peach and chilli relish and spicy tomato chutney as well (made them when peaches and tomatoes were being sold off in the supermarket).
