Its that time of year again

Remember the wind is harsh...and even more so from now through the winter months....so remember to put on a slightly thicker (or put on an extra time per day) cream to prevent your skin from chapping,

Also if you dont wear lipstick...wear a chap stick, or lip gloss...again to prevent your lips from chapping...men you can use chapsticks!

also remember that Vaseline...unless made especially for face or lips....should not to be used on face or lips...as it contains a fungiside.

I didn't know that Kimmie.

It sounds as if it might not be a good thing to put on your skin anywhere.

I applied a liberal coat of high melting point grease to my hands and face today, plus a dash of WD-40 and a smear of copper grease. Will that do?

Oh, and earlier in the day I used a face pack made of equal parts liquid pig poo, well-rotted straw and oozing goop.

I must be soooooo beautiful now. *Simpers and pouts.*

The perfect camouflage to hide in a wattle and daub wall

I came in with sheep poo on my face today but it hasn't done a thing for me

I tend to apply white emulsion quite liberally most days... and scrub it off with scouring powder. Works a treat. Even the dog (I'm dog sitting again) got some white paint today!

And if vaseline contains a fungicide - all the better. Stops you from getting ringworm.

er....ringworm!!....on your face!!!   eurghhh!!!!!
baldowrie

You can ringworm anywhere an infected hair touches you, the face being a fairly obvious place.
wildgarlic

I didn't know it had a fungicide in it either.

A friend of my daughter's had a really bad case of ringworm and it was on her face, her hair - terrible!
Sassinak

If you have cattle with ringworm in a field, it can live in the fence posts that they have scratched on, for about 20 years.
