You'll be able to learn more about 'Your North East' at a day conference in historic King's College, University of Aberdeen, on Monday, July 20.

Using the free booklet "Routes to Your North East Roots", try tracing your ancestors with helpful assistance from the staff at Aberdeen and North East Scotland Family History Centre, City and Shire archives and registrar offices.

Aboyne Highland GamesEvening entertainment includes the Scottish premieres of Burns’ Opera 'Ae Fond Kiss' and RAF Opera "MacRobert's Reply" at Haddo House, and there's the chance to see Aly Bain and Phil Cunningham in concert at Turriff Show's Friday Ceilidh.

Join the March of the Clans at Aboyne Highland Games on Saturday, August 1, and again at Aberdeen Tartan Day on Sunday, August 2, closing with an International Beating Retreat by the Gordon Highlanders Reunion. Aboyne Highland Games

The world-renowned Aberdeen-Angus Cattle will be on view at Turriff Show on August 2 and 3, where the Overseas Visitors Tent stewards will provide you with a warm welcome.
