Hi from another permaculture course refugee....Hi everyone,
I am Jane from Tarland, freshly 'graduated' and keen from the intro to permaculture course organised by Rod. So hi Maria, Rod, and anyone else (Roma?) here, possibly like me also going under incomprehensible aliases.

So glad you've found your way here. You're amongst friends....and will find many a NEEP who you'll have things in common with. Rod and Roma have found their way here too - with luck others will jump aboard soon.
T'was a great weekend.
Oops, sorry, forgot to say a BIG to NEEPS.

Hello Coire, and welcome to Neeps.
Maria certainly did a great job of getting you all here - hope you'll stick around. I've just made a new permaculture section to help you feel at home - and for you all to be able to share your newly found skills.

Thanks for the welcome guys! Hm, not sure about the wise bit - I have black fingers and a rabbit epidemic. But the permaculture philosophy ties in with how I try and approach life, and this year I am hoping to do something about my criminally neglected garden (which I quite like as it is but there's room for improvement).

Hi Jane welcome!
I am near Tarland so if you ever want a lift up to the food coop at Kildrummy which we have monthly, or anything let me know. Also if you need any horse manure for your perm crops.
Happy cultivating!

Most certainly is. Now RodL is here, I get the feeling he'll let us know when the next one's planned. Would recommend it highly.

Thanks! Might well take you up on the manure offer - does it need rotting down?
What food co-op?

Hi Maria,
Thanks for the prod - hehe! Resolution made
Things happening(ish) here - veg plot done AND there's talk of a Transition initiative in Aboyne (and area, I hope, as I'm in Tarland). Will post info on meeting when it's finalised.
Meanwhile I'm off to catch up on the news here.
