Sadly just heard that the light sussexes I was getting have been got by the fox, (and several others also).

I'm ideally looking to buy three hens to add to my six. Do not have to be POL, my wish list would be light sussexes, followed by possibly marans. Bantams or not. I'm only looking for breed hens, preferably not orange as I'm moving towards some different colours and breeds.

Loving home, space but fenced in, non fox problem area, they're shut in at night, have trees for shelter and compost heaps to dig about in.

I know you said no ornage ones but....i know of two orange jobs looking for a good home. They're due to come to me but after the slaughter, I just can't face anything at the mo.

Thanks but sorry. Just gave 4 to Maria, as I had an orange majority that were running the roost. Since they've gone, my breed hens are very chilled and still got two oranges but they're staying and settled.

could probably spare some from here but can't guarantee absolute pure breed light sussex - you've seen them so let me know.

OH YES PLEASE!!!!!! Not worried if they're not strictly bred, they're for loving not breeding and selling.
