Not got a clue, but FM... last year must have been a good one with almost 200 bottles of wine and 19 bottles of champagne
Keyrings look nice though...

would say at least £25 for the hat and scalf set or indiviually £10 for hat and £15 for scarf.
As for the other stuff you need to work out how much it cost you, and how much your time is worth,
so if it cost you £5 for the 10 rings for your keyrings...you divide that by 10...then how much money in time that it took you to make...say £8 which again you divide by 10(the amount of key rings).
then add the two answers together so the answer would be £1.30....then you need to add your profit...usually triple the making price so your key rings would be £3.90....thats just an example though.
I hope that made sense and helped

As a craft fair veteren DO NOT make your items so cheap as to look as though they are made up in a hurry. Go for a higher price tag and you can let them haggle you down say by 10%, then they go away with a happy purchase knowing they have won a small victory and you get the price you wanted. It is called psychology
and it works

I agree with Marhar.
Gordon and I had a similar conversation about him undercharging for his work the other day. If stuff is too cheap folks assume it's rubbish, if it has no price tag they walk away, if it is fairly priced with a little wriggle room, everyone ends up happy.
Nobody but a skinflint expects to get unique for the same price as mass produced. Those keyrings are individual, very nice to handle (seen them - photo doesn't do them justice) and imo, very saleable.
I'll buy one off you if you have any left or when you make more. I don't care much for keyrings usually but they appeal to me enough to want one.

thanks for all the advice
went not to bad sold a few things only one key ring tho (thanks SH)
was suprised to be the only person selling crafts at a craft farye - others there were virgin vie, dippy bears (teddys dipped in sented wax), pick and mix, pampered chef and someone selling silver jewlrey

So many craft fairs are like that nowadays - really sad. Perhaps we should get out act in gear and have a craft stall at the farmers' markets. There is enough talent within our group to have a well stocked stall don't you think?

I had thought about suggesting a neeps stall at the fayres/markets but not sure about how we would all get our stuff together for each event
if we could come up with a way of doing it i would be up for it.

Ooooh now that I like. Question is what am I good enough at to put on a Neep stall? Something to think about while I'm pottering in the garden today.

We could do anything - even small plants, herbs etc - knitted goods, paintings, photography, cards etc etc etc - the sky is the limit.
Will have to look into the legalities of it all - anyone got any first hand experience?

Nope, sorry. never had a stall.
I do think it's a grand idea though. Think it was Julie who said, sometimes you have to make your own opportunities. Still scratching my head for what I could offer...and I'm still not in the garden...yikes. Must go...planting is calling. Ah, ha, by jove I have it....herbs (espec after what I heard about herbs just recently) oooh think I could do that. Basil and sage here I come.
