Remember that sticky vinyl stuff they used alot in the seventies for covering bar fronts it was usually black and was suposed to look like leather. Kind of diamond patterned and padded.
Does anyone know what i mean and what it was called ? I need somthing to cover the inside of the boat and thought it might be a good idea but cant find out what it was called.

Called self adhesive film I think. Some here, at the dreaded B&Q if it's the right stuff.

thanks but it is not fablon it is padded out at the back with a thin layer of foam and is criss crossed with stitching, I might just use carpet as I dont think it is made any more. thanks anyway.
