Help to build stud wallIs anyone up to building a stud wall for me to make my son a bedroom? My son is in desperate need of a room to himself.
I can't afford to pay much but you will be watered and feed and can have overnight accommodation in my touring caravan whilst doing the job. I am near Coupar Angus.

I can't help though, sorry. Hope you can find someone. I don't blame your son for needing his own space!

sorry I dont know anyone in your area who could help
They are not that difficult though, i helped one of the guys working on our house, basically its just 2x4's cut up to make a frame, do everything at 600mm centres so that standard plasterboard will fit.

The difficulty or knowing how to build the wall is not the problem. The problem is I am a 5ft 2" disabled female and my mother is 75. So the problem is the logistics of lifting the heavy plaster board etc.

Perhaps social services could organise something for you?
If you do have to pay anything it will be proportionate to your means iykwim, it usually is.
