Help!! is it egg peritonitis????

One of my resue hens is poorly. I went out to put them away and found her hunched up and straining. She's not interested in food and I also saw a thin dribble of something clear leaking out of her vent.
Is this egg peritonitis??
I can't see an egg in the vent.
I had brought her in and put her somewhere warm and out of drafts with a blanket over her box to see whatthe morning brings...but I'd like to know if there is anything I can do for her now and what it might be.
Thanks

If it is egg peritonitis the only thing you can really try is get her to the vet for some antibiotics, but the prognosis isn't good.
We lost one this year to this and she was bringing up yellow oily liquid, her whole body cavity was filled with it and were advised to PTS.

Sorry if this is what is wrong, her chances aren't good. Are you sure its not an egg with no shell, that has burst in the oviduct.

Shes ok now Just egg bound I think..there was a squished egg in with her in the morning
