hells angel with feathers!

I only had three goose eggs suitable to try and hatch and unfortunately only one has hatched.  To save him from being lonely I thought I would give him a mirror until I can sort out a more suitable friend for him.
This was the only mirror I could find.  Left over from my days of pilfering anything I could from D's part ex motorbikes to sell on ebay.  If it came off it was game   Actually, I have kept the packaging as this was brand new so once he has finished with it...

great idea     so there is a reason for motorbikes       maybe i should just let my chooks into the garage to explore    then wait for the divorce to follow

Many thanks to Kimmie and Matty for bringing round one of their ducklings last night to keep our gosling happy.  They hit it off straight away and peace and quiet has returned to the kitchen.  Lots of little chirpy sounds instead of one long squeal.
Thank you very much, Lisa.

My budgie had a mirror in his cage when I was a kid. He used to sit at the opposite end of the perch chuntering and now and then run across to the mirror and bash hell out of the other bird.
With the wisdom and hindsight of an adult, I think it should have been removed - it was probably his arch enemy, but as a kid, I thought he must be enjoying it because it seemed to be keeping him amused Probably traumatised the poor bird.

forget the goose ,  can I have the mirror     my bike has some old ones on

Hello Dale,
Sorry I missed your comment but yes of course you can have the mirror.  It has been gathering dust here for four years.  I'll see what else I have lurking and let you know, I might have the other one.  I took it out of the cage as soon as Kimmie and Matty bought the duckling round and I have just checked it and it is as good as new.  There's bound to be a meet up somewhere I can get it to you.
