hello- i'm newHi, I am one of a few folks near Largue with some land, a few small animals and plans to get goats at some point. we are experimenting in "green" building and systems. Been meaning to join this site for ages and have at last got round to it. Most of us are from Drummuir/keith area but have been in Fife for Years and just returned to the North East 2 years ago. Glad to see there seem to be lots of like minded people around.
One of the things that spurred me on to join was worrying about buying milk in plastic containers and as we are not ready to get goats yet, was wondering if there is anyone near us who might be able to spare some goats milk on a regular basis. I know u are not allowed to sell it unpasturised but wondered if some sort of exchange agreement could be worked out?
looking forward to hearing from/meeting some of u soon.

Ooooo - does that mean there are more of you? Dare i say a mini green community? Please excuse my noseyness, just can't help myself - you'll find out I'm well know for my rather large beak.
Great to have you around...so glad you've decided to join us. Wishing you luck with the goats milk hunt. Wait a whiley and if no one relplies here...might be worth you posting it in the 'goaty' and other animals section.
Big to Neeps.
