Health and Beauty or Fix it, not sure which. My best health and beauty fix it is a bit mad but it works.
If you have a blister on your foot, like I did about 12 years ago in new shoes on the morning of a job interview. Don't put a plaster on it, it rubs off in your shoe (and bleeds up your leg), cut up a panti liner, stick the sticky bit to the shoe and your blister is cushioned gently without rubbing on the soft bit.

that sound a good one, I always get blisters inbetween my toes so i get ome cotton wool and some masking tape it inbetween the toes (just make sure it not to tight)
i find this helps me.

there are plenty of uses for them no first aid box should be with some, they make great alround dressings, they are absorbant, sterile, and they dont stick to wounds, burns or grazes and most of all cheap.
Tampons can be handy for bad noosebleads

I agree, essential part of a first aid kit

Panty LinersHi,
Sorry, what's a compeed?
Saw the tampon/nosebleed scenario on Sex and the City, (possibly only person who watches it, frivolus fun to fall asleep with, on at bed time)thought it a great idea.

Compeed is used by walkers etc...you can get it in most chemists or walking shops....it acts like a second skin....put it on and leave....brilliant stuff!
