Greenhorizon- the year-round inclusive festival

According to news earlier this year, we have 100 months to make radical changes to ensure the continuance of life of earth - by now, we have around 98 left, and little has happened so far.
Out of which was born an idea - for a festival, not just for a few days, but a festival that lasts all year, by intelligent use of the net - a coming together of people and ideas for a truly green festival where you can have fun, but also to get as immersed as you like in all things green, from renewable energy to keeping hens, and growing your own veg - the start of a really sustainable life.
We already have some great people aboard - Brigit Strawbridge will be there, we have an experienced internet team on standby, who will shortly be starting streaming internet radio and tv to let people know what we're about, and start the great debates.......
Where do you come in? - anywhere you feel you can help - do you have skills to share? can you give talks/demos?, do you have/know a really good band/act? (we need entertainment too!), do you want to help sponsor us/take a stand/plug your company at the festival/on the website?.........The idea is that this is a festival of, for, and by the people - all of us working towards a common purpose - saving our beloved planet - so it matters not a jot who you are, what age, ethnicity, political leanings, sex, class - none of it matters, just that you'd like to become part of something very special...........
We have to look towards a genuinely sustainable future, we want this to be the platform for a real grass-roots movement towards that end, and to have some fun along the way too.........
One of the main criticisms of festivals in general is that they are by definition not very green due to people having to travel to get to them - this one you can partake in online without physically making the trip, and the hope is for this first festival to be a template for several regional festivals - one of our "internet bods" is already champing at the bit to arrange the Scottish one. The first one is in Monmouthshire.

Got it covered? - not yet! - we want to be a fulcrum for like minds - as it says on the tin, we don't give a flying fig who, or what you are, all that matters is that you care about saving life on earth - and accept that we've ALL got to get together to do it.
I've just come off the 'phone to a guy who has run green festivals in the past - I was pleased to confirm that we aren't in competition with, or wish to supplant what other people are doing towards the same ends, and he's agreed to help us, in his own way, that's all we can ask of anyone!

Ooops...  should I have said 'do you want me to submit your info to the next 'great turning times' newsletter? Might help draw more like minded folks towards you - and let them know something great is about to happen.

Been mooching around Green Horizon forum...and have offered to help in anyway I can. Think it's truly wonderful...and can't wait to help out with a scot one too.
