The FSA, like DEFRA, Hilary Benn, and the government are well known as being wholly owned subsidiaries of "Agrochem Corp. Inc", the FSA particularly being "anti" chemical free farming......... (and they get away with it in our name, using our tax money.......)

The thing that annoyed me about this news was how quickly it became distorted. 'No nutritional difference' became 'not healthier' in the vernacular of the media.
Of course there is no nutritional difference in the produce. The plants and animals will only absorb what they need whatever source that nutrient is derived from.
The benefits come from the lack of chemicals as residue or by absorbtion. Also, there is often a massive difference in flavour as organic growers and meat producers often use non-commercial varieties, which may have lower yield but better disease and pest resistance. These varieties often have more taste but have been abandoned in favour of high yield for the sake of profit.
There is a lot of nonsense spouted by both camps on occasion, but when the FSA give the media this much ammunition they do the organic movement a great disservice, imo.
