Free Range Eggs Drumoak

Does anyone know if the free range eggs are still available at Drumoak??

I remember getting from a farm at drumoak years ago they were the best eggs I have ever tasted.

Are you thinking of the wee farm shop just before the village coming from Peterculter? If so, unfortunately thats gone.

There are a few places selling FR eggs about here (Drumoak'ish) though. I can let you have some too - we're overrun!
kimmie

we have more eggs than we can eat too....think i will make some cakes and freeze them...but i can also freeze the eggs if i get desperate
wildgarlic

we get a couple of eggs a day if we are lucky! Roll on spring.

It was chickens in a field it was more like a house next to it??
I would need to drive passed that area before I would remember now??
Will have to try& source another place if its gone.
They were the tasties eggs I have ever had.

There's a place up that way that has a field with 3 or 4 large coops in and lots of free range birds. There's a sign outside that has a chicken and a Christmas pud on it (they do very good Christmas puds).

It's on the "back road" between Drumoak and the Falls of Feugh. Is that the place you mean? Still there if it is, but I haven't looked to see if there's anything about them selling eggs.

Kimmie pass your extra eggs this way.
I'm getting one every second day (if I'm lucky).
Lemonysnicket

ah the place you're on about Diana is Tilqhuillie fine foods - one in the same as Maryfield chickens.

You lot are very lucky with your eggs we have'nt had a hen egg since October, my ducks however are very good and we get 5 a day so thats them all laying, shame they cant show the hens what to do
Ina

Isn't that unusual? I always thought ducks had a much shorter laying season than hens!
Werain

We have Khaki campbells which lay most of the year (thank god)
