Flowers on SageI planted sage seeds last year which grew well and overwintered outside.A few weeks ago I picked the tops off hoping to encourage side shoots Now every plant has a large flower bud.Should I allow it to flower or remove them now? They look like they will be very pretty so Idon't want to take them off unless they will reduce the crop of sage.

I think that if you want to grow for leaves then pinch out the flowers - but I'd leave some with flowers as the flowers are lovely - and you may even get more seed later

Mine did the same - flowers just seemed too pretty to crop off.
