Flower identity

Does anyone know for certain what this is?  The flower head is about 4" tall
bracken

flower

it's some sort of orchid - we've got loads of them!!!
I think they are fairly difficult to identify with a proper latin name but I think they are marsh orchids.
We had an Aberdeenshire Ranger visit us who said there are many similar plants.
Some of ours have spotted leaves, some white flowers, some of varying shades of blue/purple.
Sorry can't be more specific without resorting to plant identification books!

yeah, if its got spots on the leaves then its a purple spotted orchid, otherwise its probably a common marsh orchid.

Although it does only have a short flower spike, so it might be a pyramid orchid.

they are lovely what ever they are called.

Thank you all.
They're actually growing all along the wooded side of our outdoor archery range at RAF Lossiemouth, but none of us were sure what they were.
