FloppiesSince Phil doesn't even have a floppy drive on his new PC, I have finally convinced him to dispose of most of his lifetime's collection of floppy disks. There are hundreds of them.
Does anyone want any?
or can anyone think of a use for any?
I'm sorry but I am not going to separate them into their components for recycling, they will go in the bin if no-one comes up with anything

You could ask the creative waste exchange people, but be careful that there isn't any personal info on them before giving/dumping them.

if you still have any I'll take a few.
still prefer the easy familiarity of XP compared to vista, and 3.5" 's are always usefull for SATA drivers
(can never find a disc when I decide to build a comp in the middle of the night and can't ask cazz where one is... )

Are the 3.5" or 5.25" ? SD, DD or HD? Just curious.

Curiosity about floppy disks is just wrong....
I have an idea, you rip out the magnetic disk, and the metal clips, then you put 2 together (length ways) and fuse (melt or glue) another 1 to keep then ridgid and together, you then repeat this to make loads of sections and staple them togther using a single piece of metal cable...and hey presto, you have a pliable raised bed edging strip to make any shapes possible...... happy stapling...
