Emergency incubator loanHi
Our stupid hen has decided she isn't broody after all, just when we got 6 eggs to put under her.
Does anyone have an incubator we can borrow or at worst a broody hen

This happened to me last year.. bought eggs and she gave up after 2 days and they were wasted..
Sorry I don't have an incubator but I do have 2 broodies at the moment, and expecting 12 eggs in the post any day now.
What is the maximum amount of eggs you can put under each bird?
I know I am too far away for you, but if your struggling, i'm sure we could work something out.

I think we've still got two hens sitting on one clutch of eggs - if that's the case then we could lend you one of them but not guarantees that she'd stay broody after a move? Anyone know?

Pete, I've got an incubator you can borrow if it isnt too late? Sass borrowed it last year, and a friend in the village used it as well, and she still has it. I can get it back from her this morning if you still need it?

If you want some extra eggs to put into it, I have cochin and partridge pekin eggs here and I'm not very far from PDs
