Eisenhower WARNED US!Subject: Eisenhower WARNED US!
I didn't really know where to copy this email to - but it was news to me so I thought this seemed as good as anywhere
It is a matter of history that when the Supreme Commander of the Allied Forces, General Dwight Eisenhower, found the victims of the death camps he ordered all
possible photographs to be taken, and for the German people from surrounding villages to be ushered through the camps and even made to bury the dead.
He did this because he said in words to this effect:
'Get it all on record now - get the films - get the witnesses -because somewhere down the road of history some b***ard will get up and say that this never happened'
This week, the UK debated whether to remove The Holocaust from its school curriculum because it 'offends' the Muslim population which claims it never occurred.
It is not removed as yet.. However, this is a frightening portent of the fear that is gripping the world and how easily each country is giving in to it.
It is now more than 60 years after the Second World War in Europe ended. This e-mail is being sent as a memorial chain, in memory of the,6 million Jews, 20 million Russians, 10 million Christians, and 1,900 Catholic priests Who were 'murdered, raped, burned, starved, beat, experimented on and humiliated' while the German people looked the other way!
Now, more than ever, with Iran, among others claiming the Holocaust to be 'a myth,' it is imperative to make sure the world never forgets.
This e-mail is intended to reach 400 million people! Be a link in the memorial chain and help distribute this around the world.
How many years will it be before the attack on the World Trade Center 'NEVER HAPPENED' .because it offends some Muslim in the U.S. ???
Do not just delete this message; it will take only a minute to pass this along.
FREEDOM ISN'T FREE...SOMEONE HAD TO PAY FOR IT.

[/quote] Catholic bishop denies Holocaust
Catholic bishop denies Holocaust
pa.press.net
A Roman Catholic British bishop rejected the idea that he should be subject to punishment in Germany for denying the Holocaust on Swedish television, saying he tried to prevent the interview from being broadcast there, according to a report by a German weekly.

I'm just reading Rudolf Hoess' autobiography. It's - mind boggling.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rudolf_H%C3%B6ss
All those things I'd know, yes - but to see it written down and justified by one of those who were involved at the top end of it - incredible. Still can't really find the right words for it.

It is said that if we don't learn the lessons of history, we are destined to repeat all the same mistakes........
I'm also heartily sick of the brigades of assorted loonies lurking in wait to jump up and down as they're "offended", and Labour governments who "believe in free speech" until you want to say something that may not be entirely "on message", and who have given instructions to the forces of darkness to kick the cr&*p out of anyone DARING to protest on the streets.
Free speech should be "what it says on the tin" - I would dearly love to make my feelings known about downright evil "religions" that preach hate,
countries that contain a people who in the past have been dreadfully treated, but now insist on visiting a holocaust on those who's country they now occupy - and still continue mutilating their children, and telling them they're "God's chosen"............... but as it would probably get me consigned to the dungeons, I'd better desist.........

Whatever happened to 'when in Rome, do as the Romans do'?
Anyone who moves to a new place has a duty to live by the customs and laws of their new, adopted country. If an incomer doesn't like the way things are done, they don't have to stay do they?
I love diversity in people by the way, it makes the world far more interesting, but nobody has a right to force their belief system on another culture. Practice their own faith by all means, but within the confines of the rules of the host country.

Could they have been included in the "10 million Christians"? I believe they mostly were of some kind of Christian background. Homosexuals don't seem to be on the list, either - possibly for the same reason (and there were a lot of them); neither are Poles.
