I am always on the look out for things to do with the kids . I was wondering if we could use this thread to post experiences of nice days out or any upcoming events anybody hears of, or things to do with kids on a rainy day.
Information could include , price , locality, enjoyability on a scale of 1-10 , weblink etc.

Good idea broadbean

Although I do take kids to the usual places that cost an arm and a leg to get into, I find that most kids really enjoy 'family time' no matter where that is. The little one I have loves the beach, especially exploring rock pools and the like. Kite flying when up a decent hill is also very good and quite exhilarating!
