CWE Sustainable Living SchemeI've just received this in the newslatter from CWE. Are we likely to be interested?
Free Climate Change Training
We are looking for groups, schools or businesses who would be interested in taking part in a sustainable living project. There are places for 3 or 4 of your members/pupils/staff to attend a series of free training sessions on reducing waste and energy use as well as improving transport habits.
The advice and support materials from these sessions will allow them to support the remaining members of your team. Within the year you should see real carbon savings which will be monitored and evaluated with our help.
If you are interested in finding out more on how to reduce your organisations carbon footprint please email lynn@abzforward.plus.com or you can view the EcoChallenge website on www.ecochallenge.org for more information.
If the funding application is successful the project would start late 2008.

Yes - it would be of interest, but as D says, the link is dead.

Thanks Ina - I didn't have time to rummage about myself last night.
I think it would be an interesting exercise to see if a group of people who are already recycling, aware of reducing energy and water use etc could improve further. I for one think I could.

Ah - it still seems to be a question of "if we get funding" - no wonder they can't advertise it on the website yet...
