Did we renew Neeps membership? Forgot to ask! Have to make a trip to Aberdeen tomorrow so was thinking of calling in there. Bit short notice now...but worth asking for another day.

No sorry we didn't renew membership.
I knew that me and Phil were not likely to use it in central Aberdeen and there didn't seem to be an overwhelming demand from others so we didn't bother

Sass, is it anywhere near Union street?

It's down by the harbour.
On a street facing the harbour not far from the new bus station

In that case it is very close to Shelly's bar. I might get the girls to take a walk down with me next time I'm there, I think they might be interested too.
What is the name of the street, if you know it of course, please?

There's a map on their web

Didn't get there today - reason for going was cancelled. I do fancy a peek next time. It mentions making an appointment (not sure if this is for donations rather than customers) and a membership fee for individuals?!

I think I'll drive there, it's quite a long way from the Union st end of Crown st. Will they let you in if you aren't a member or can you join on the day you visit?

We went there on Thursday and I was bitterly disappointed. There wasn't much stuff there and the only things I might have bought cost more than buying new in Birmingham market. Apparently, it was much better stocked when it was in Dyce.
It was very hard to find too. We found it by chance when we went into a place that said good neighbours (or something like that) and it was in the same building. They really need a sign on the outside.

I agree with Julie, so dissapointing I didnt buy anything but they do those real nappies so I baught one to try. The Dyce shop was much better stocked but if your into patchwork they have loads of materials.

There are plenty of small remnants of furnishing type fabrics but nothing big enough to use on its own - if you wanted to reupholster a chair for instance.
I didn't ask about the prices of those.
