craft evening novemberId like to try and get a card making craft evening or day or whatever, together for november,
Townie has very kindly given us alot, and i mean alot  of card making stuff, (thankyou townie). and with it being coming up for christmas, i thought it would make sense.
any suggestions are welcome In a few days ill start asking whos interested, and doing polls for times etc, 
just thought id get things going

Depends what date you had in mind SH. I'm quite busy at the beginning of the month and will need a few days to recover afterwards.
I'm central for some people and haven't done a turn yet (shame faced).
Don't add me to the poll without agreeing a date with me first
Unless it is just to find out how far folks want to travel of course and the date decided later.

theres andy and sassinak on the list for card making evening, and julie depending on the date etc.
ive decided to leave it to someone else to organise, youll have to work that one out yourselves.

Hey crafty SH - how you wiggling out of that one. 
You started this grand idea. Keep up the good work. Al n Carrot Lover think xmas card making is a fab idea! Espec Al, who think he'll be able to make them all in one night....i think he's going to try and have me, him, CL n B, factory working rather than fun crafting.

im hoping it will still go ahead, and if im around ill come ,
im thinking i need to get away though, and for a while, and if i do , which i probably will, then ill end up letting everyone down, which is why im hoping someone else will step in, i need to put my sanity first im afraid
ill get a poll up in a few days with everyone that has pmed to offer to host,
then its upto someone else.
after that i need to be free ,and i dont want to be worried about letting people down.
and ill make sure the card stuff gets there.

Ah, i see, my apologies. I'm sure we'll manage to get something arranged. You will be missed of course...but i understand what you mean about having a break.

How far into the month do we usually have our meets?

not sure now, but it could be anytime really, what about mid month, which day of the week is best for everyone

It doesn't make any difference to me. I am happy to go with the majority verdict

I think you need to decide on the venue first and then sort out a day that suits the majority. Why not put your poll on and take it from there. If you try and decide a day it might not suit the host who gets picked and then you will have to start all over again.
Mid month should be ok for me too by the way, I was a bit apprehensive about early in the month, that was all.
