commercial alu can collectionDoes anyone know of a company or organisation that collects alu cans from workplaces? There used to be one that we used but I think the council shut it down.
We currently have a couple of sacks of cans in the office and I hardly use the car now to get to the office so I cant easily take away myself.
Given that alu is fairly valuable, I would of thought it worth someone picking it up.

Nah, scrap's bottomed out again. Keep them until after the Olympics when China's making tat again, then sell it to Panda Rosa.

thanks. I had thought the aye-can project was being closed but looked them up again and they have a new business model so I'll contact them.

no there are uncrushed. must persuade the boss to buy a can crusher. maybe its not worth pickingup 2 bags smoothhound but if you are passing the west end of abz you are welcome to it, otherwise i'll try ayecan.

And why can't the Old English Sheepdogs collect them themselves? That's just plain lazy.
