Chilblain HelpHi,
My 9yo has started to suffer from chilblains on her feet. Something I suffered from horribly for years as a child. Mine eventually cleared at about 12-13 yo with the aid of or totally coincidentally at the time I started taking Vitamin E. According to the tub, she's too young to take it. I'd rather not go to the doc for something full of chemicals if there's a purer option. Does anybody know of one please?

I haven't had the misfortune to need a cure for chilblains, but I found these sites...
http://www.oldtimeremedies.co.uk/...03/chilblains-onion-cure-for.html
http://www.epodiatry.com/chilblains.htm
http://ezinearticles.com/?Herbal-...ease-And-Chilblains&id=918806
Not sure if any of the information is useful, but might be worth a look.

What about adding "natural" vit E to the diet, i.e. something like wheatgerm? That shouldn't do any harm, and might help.

also rubbing the feet very gently to get the circulation round helps....you can get vitamin E moisture cream thats safe for young people in the body shop....just use a lotion as appose to a butter...much more gentle and is safe
