Thought I would start off this thread seeing as I'm a new "Granny" now
Here is one of the Lemon Cuckoo Pekin Bantams that hatched this morning...
2 have hatched and 1 is pipped and 2 still doing nothing

Theyre Lovely Pete... We got 4 out of 6 hatched, removed the last egg yesterday and got my oh to check if there was anything insude the egg, but it was just a stinky egg, no chick

I'm waiting on Lemon Millefleur Sablepoots and some Aylesbury ducks, will post when I become a great granny lol!

I've just hatched 8 from 12 Ebay Poland eggs. 6 Chamoise and 2 gold laced so I am pleased with that. Not as pleased with the single silkie out of 6 eggs (Thainestone)
I can't post photos at the moment because we've lost the lead to connect the camera to the pc lol

Here are my latest 2 granchicks they hatched tuesday/wednesday
I'm not sure what colours they are supposed to be think one is black, but i've been looking at pics of pekin chick colours online and my black looks like a birchen? Its already named...... Pingu
The other one might be a partridge?
Will need the help of Sassinak I think... our very own Chicken Guru

Second is a partridge. The first could easily be black, they often have white wing tips when they are hatched. Strangely enough the feathers can sometimes come through white and then slowly darken to black.
