BeekeepingLast year there was something about beekeeping courses near Aberdeen.
Does anyone know more about this and is it an annual thing?
Appologies - I realise bees aren't technically animals.

Yes, I think it's just about to start again in Aberdeen - will try and find out more about it. It was very good; unfortunately the practical part coincided with lambing, so I missed all that.

www.thorne.co.uk have details of many national bee keeping events. I have become an apprentice from my neighbour who keeps bees. Maybe you could find someone local to learn from?

Aberdeen and District bee keepers are starting the theory course on 20th Jan for 7 weeks. Details can be found on the Thornes website. The practical course is around April sometime.
