Starting from scratch but with plenty of enthusiasm we gather orphaned bikes, fix them up and bring them back to life. We run a community-based workshop which is not only home to the bikes we lend out for free, but also offers tools, spare part and competent help to anyone coming down the road keen on fixing or building their own bike, helping out with the project or just looking for a place to hang out.

What a great idea  Something good for Aberdeen. Cycling in cities is a fabulous way of getting around, especially if, like Edinburgh, there's many off road cycle paths. And Aberdeen's buses are so more expensive than Edinburgh's... although horizontal precipitation is occasionally a problem in both
