BBH updateI thought I would update you all on BBH's latest hospital appointment.
The specialist is unhappy with BBH's foot (shape, pain etc) and has decided that the only way forward is for him to perform not one but two further procedures 
The first is to operate and remove all of the metal work that is currently in there (some of which is holding the blinkin ankle in place ) Once this has had time to heal (2 to 3 months) he will operate to completely seize the ankle joint. BBH has very little movement in the joint anyway so not much will be lost but hopefully this should take away the majority of the pain. So, he is looking at another year of operations, physio and frustration  but if the end result is a life with far less pain it will be worth it for him.

Not much fun - but yes, if the long term pain is lessened then that's worth it!!

Doesn't sound too good; but I agree, less pain in the long run will be worth it... Oh b***y legs - why do they always have to hurt!

Flippin eck. Poor lad. I feel for him. I hope this series of ops will prove successful and that he is painfree afterwards.
