Badger on a misty nightDriving home from Bracken's last night it was quite misty. I took the route through Strichen alongside the old railway line.
Through the mist I saw a shape in the road and braked to a halt.
It was a badger !
He (?) slowly sauntered across the road without a care in the world. I was so chuffed, I smiled all the way home

Ive not seen one up here yet, I wasnt sure there were any. So you have increased my knowledge on that one! Id love to see one tho I dont suppose the cattle farmer next door would!
We used to see them a lot in Wilts/Somerset but Lachlan and I always thought it was the same one, picking up his skirts and racing to the next place we saw it. They cant half shift when they want to, I was amazed by how fast they can go.
