Bad Hair Day !!!Please ignore the slightly blurred patched on some of the pictures but I was photographing through mesh.
and while it had focused on the birds quite well, the mesh can still be seen as a blur on some of them.
First is picture of my Chamois Poland hen. Gorgeous lacing and a lovely neat pompom even if she does have difficulty seeing out.
Then we have my frizzled Lavender Pekin hen - slightly windswept looking.
Combine the two and you get my Frizzled Gold laced Poland chick - definitely a bad hair day
And with a tail like this it has to be a fella !!
Some of the rest of the batch. It was their first day outside today and they are still a bit bemused by the green stuff lol

New Baby Polands
These are the original colour that Polands came in, all the others have been produced by very laborious cross breeding by someone
They will be all black with a white pompom. Very dramatic.
And these (sorry only one shown) will be gold laced Polands, but a completely different bloodline to the older chicks to make breeding easier.
I think if it is possible, Polands are even tamer than Pekins !!
I tried to chase them into the hut at bedtime last night, but they are not even slightly scared of me and just sat on my feet

I might just travel to the breeder, as eggs are no use to me.

Give me a shout if you find a breeder fairly close.
I could always do with youngsters of a different bloodline.
If you find anyone in Northern England I will be going to Yorkshire at the end of July and could always do a slight detour
